Design for table lamp in metal and alabaster seen in elevation with details of profile and plan. At upper left, detail indicates object is elliptical in plan, with base of slightly smaller circumference than foot. Below, elevation shows ellipsoidal volume with central column ornamented by alabaster slats that tilt leftward from the bottom; at mid-height this ornament turns rightward and continues up to the top of the base, where a cylindrical bulb support is occluded by a shade. At lower center, profile detail reveals shallow, rectangular silhouette from side. Margins ruled in graphite.
